To get a rough slab count, measure the length and width of the area in metres. Multiply them together to get the area in square metres.
Next, measure the slab size. A common slab size is 60cm by 60cm. Convert centimetres to metres before comparing it with the area.
Add a waste allowance, often around 10%, for cuts, breaks and awkward edges.
